Conditioning Programs-Team & Individual
Whether an individual or a team wants to increase their performance, skills or reduce the likelihood of injuries, an effective conditioning program must incorporate a balanced approach to training. Trendy programs and training methods that are “off the shelf” may not provide a balanced approach in meeting performance parameters.
The combination of speed, agility and endurance an athlete requires is determined by his or her sport. Our conditioning program consist of the following elements:
- flexibility training;

- focus, visualization, and self understanding training, which can help train the mind for competition and to improve confidence and focus
To complete the conditioning program, the athlete is provided with the skills necessary to think strategically and increase their self-awareness on both a physical and psychological level as well.

Team Yoga sessions
Yoga has been integrated as a form of cross-training into the conditioning programs of professional and amateurs sports. Among the practitioners of yoga, hockey teams within the NHL; basketball, football, soccer, baseball, rugby, etc.. Known for its’ ability to increase flexibility; reduce injuries and develop upper and lower body strength, the cultivation of a greater awareness and enhanced concentration are by-products of a yoga practice that are recognized by professional and amateur athletes as integral to their performance.
Yoga, for an athlete can:
- Improve lung capacity
- Power yoga develops upper body and core strength and lower body and spinal flexibility. This is vital in preventing injuries and reducing time the body needs to heal
- This mixture of strength and flexibility prepares the cardiovascular system and muscles for peak performance.
- Increase balance.
- Yoga teaches you how link movement to breath: creating more efficient movements, and increasing speed.
- Gentle Yoga rejuvenates tired muscles and repair sports injuries
