PRE-NATAL YOGA

We refer to the women in this class as our pre-natal goddesses-as you truly are a goddess during this beautiful time of your life! The one time when there are two hearts beating within your body-truly awe-inspiring and amazing.

This class is suitable for all stages of pregnancy. Prenatal yoga will enhance your energy and fitness level during pregnancy. Ease the birthing process through reducing labour related tension and anxiety using breathing and relaxation techniques.

The benefits of pre-natal yoga include:

- The breathing in pre-natal yoga calms the mind and reduces anxiety. It also increases oxygen to the body’s system increasing your energy level.

- Keeps the body strong and helps maintain your fitness level.

- The breathing techniques used in yoga help ease you through the birthing process.

- Keeps the abdominal muscles strong pre and post delivery.

- Minimizes the common effects of pregnancy such as leg cramps, back pain, hip pain, indigestion and fatigue.

- You connect with your baby on a deeper more spiritual level.

- Strengthens the spine and pelvic floor muscles.

Our classes are in 5-8 week sessions and are limited to 10 participants.
